Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels in Bulverhythe are still high, but have fallen by more than half a metre since Monday 26/02/2024. Flooding will continue to affect gardens of properties on Bexhill Road, close to the Combe Haven river, and possibly gardens on Bulverhythe Road and riverside areas of Combe Haven Holiday Park. No rain is forecast Sunday. River levels will continue to slowly fall through Sunday. A weather front will bring a small amount of rain Monday afternoon 04/03/2024, which is expected to cause river levels to rise a small amount again. Only minor flood impacts are expected in Bulverhythe, affecting fields, the recreation ground, roads and gardens. Flood risk could remain through to 06/03/2024 and river levels in Bulverhythe could remain higher than normal until next weekend (10/03/2024). If you have personal, business or community flood plans please consider enacting them. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 12:00 04/03/2024
