High tides are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning.
Flooding is expected from 8.15am to 12.15pm Tuesday 3 February.
Areas most at risk include areas in close proximity to Christchurch Harbour including Mudeford, Stanpit, the Quomps and Wick area. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Christchurch. The forecast high water is at 10.15am Tuesday 3 February, with a level of 1.64 mAODN with Easterly force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
We are closing flood gates and closely monitoring the situation.
Activate any flood protection products you may have and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
