Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from from 00:45 to 02:15 on 15/08/2026.
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths along the coast at North Morecambe Bay from Roosebeck to Carnforth including low lying areas around Ulverston, Greenodd, Haverthwaite, Flookburgh, Grange-over-Sands, Levens, Milnthorpe, Sandside, Arnside and Silverdale.
We are nearing the end of a period of high spring tides and are not expecting any further tides to reach Flood Alert Level in this cycle.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water
