Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood Warning

This Flood Warning has been issued due to high tides expected to affect coastal locations in this area. Flooding is expected between 12:15am and 4:15am on Monday 30/9/19. Flooding is forecast to affect locations nearest the coast throughout this area, in particular properties in Faversham and Conyer. The high tide is expected to coincide with strong winds and waves, we expect similar tidal conditions to those seen in December 2013. The next high tide following this one at 2:30pm is not presently expected to flood properties. Please take action to protect yourself and your property in the area of concern, and remain aware of your local situation. We are closely monitoring the situation from our incident room and have deployed staff to deploy defences at Faversham Front Brents. This message will be updated by 8am on Monday 30/09/19. For those who need it, the total water level for Sheerness is forecast to be 3.98mAOD at 2:15am, Monday 30/9/19.
