Warning no longer in force

The Flood Warning for the coast from Kemsley to Seasalter is no longer in force. The next tide is at 2:30pm this afternoon but it is not forecasted to reach the Flood Warning level. We are experiencing exceptionally high tides for the next 4 days as well as heavy rainfall on Tuesday, therefore we may have to issue further Flood Warnings during this time. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff out on the ground assessing the impacts of last night high tide. We are liaising with emergency services and our partners. This message will be updated by 7pm on 30/09/2019, or as the situation changes. For those who need it the forecast total water height at Sheerness for the 2:30pm Monday afternoon tide is 3.72mAOD.
