Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high but stable on the Colne, but the risk of flooding to properties remains.
No further rainfall is forecast, but river levels are high on the Colne due to heavy rainfall last week, and the impact of high water levels on the Thames.
Areas most at risk include Laurel Close, Aintree Close, Fawsley Close, Myrtle Close, Coleridge Close, Park Street, Cottesbrook Close, Bath Road, Staines Road, Ferry Road, Mill Street, Albany Park, Rudsworth Close, Wraysbury Road, Gloucester Drive, Dawley Ride, and Tall Trees.
River levels at the Hythe End gauge have peaked and will begin falling slowly.
Monitor local water levels. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation.
This message will be updated by 10am tomorrow, Wednesday 10th January, or as the situation changes.
