Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

The Powdermill Stream is high in Crowhurst, but now slowly falling, following Sunday's rain. Flooding will continue to affect fields, Crowhurst Recreation Ground, and rural roads. Flooding affecting riverside properties in Crowhurst should slowly ease through Monday. Including on Forewood Lane, and properties between the Plough public house and the junction of Sampsons Lane on Sandrock Hill. Only scattered showers are forecast Monday to Thursday 29/02/2024. In Crowhurst, river levels should continue to fall, with flood impacts easing Tuesday, and returning nearer to normal by Wednesday afternoon 28/02/2024. Flood protection products are recommended to be kept installed in Crowhurst, as a precaution, if you have them. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 14:00 27/02/2024
