Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are causing flooding this afternoon. Flooding is expected when river levels are at their highest from 3.00 PM on 26/01/2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Doniford Stream, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the Sampford Mill Farm area.
Further flooding is expected this evening as river levels are high and forecast to rise further due to heavy rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation and checking rivers for blockages.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Refer to local authority website for road closures.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
