Flood warning

Strong winds and spring tides may cause large waves and spray overtopping on the coast this evening.
Waves are forecast to overtop coastal defences at The Sea Life Centre and the Preston Beach Road area of Lodmoor.
Flooding is affecting The Sea Life Centre and the Preston Beach Road area of Lodmoor from 6:30 PM on 28/03/2024.
The forecast is for south-southwesterly force 8 winds this evening.
After this tide‚ the weather is more settled and no further impacts are expected.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Please stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as the expected large waves and sea spray will be dangerous.
