High tides are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected two hours either side of high tide, high tide expected 10:24PM.
Areas most at risk include The Sea Life Centre and the Preston Beach Road area of Lodmoor. Strong winds as part of Storm Goretti are expected to impact this evening's tides. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level of 1.81 mAODN at 10:24PM, with force 8 north-westerly winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.). After the high tide this evening, the weather is more settled.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Activate any flood protection products you may have and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
