Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are receding but remain high due to heavy rainfall overnight. Weather conditions are expected to improve with some further showers on Monday 28/10/24. These showers are not forecast to impact river levels in the area.

Areas most at risk include low lying areas and property adjacent to Dragley and Lund Becks at South Ulverston, including Steel Street, North Lonsdale Road, Cross Lane and Kennedy Street areas.

We are closely monitoring the situation and continue to clear debris from weed screens.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
