Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from 5:00 PM on 20/09/2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Dragley Beck, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around low lying areas and property adjacent to Dragley and Lund Becks at Rydal Road, Watery Lane, Fitz Bridge, Morecambe Road, Rope Walk and parts of South Ulverston at Low Mill Bridge, South View Farm and Outcast.
We are clearing debris from weed screens and liaising with emergency services and local authorities.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
