High tides this afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 3:30PM to 7:30PM on 30 January 2026.
Areas most at risk include Preston Beach. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Weymouth of 1.27 mAODN and 3.4m waves at 5:30PM, with South Easterly force 6 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
