Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 7.30pm to 11.30pm on 02 February 2026 and 07:45am to 11:45am on 03 February 2026 for Swanage.
Areas most at risk include Swanage Bay, and Portland Harbour. In Swanage there may be a risk to the lower end of High Street road by the Pier Head so avoid parking vehicles in this area due to wave overtopping and flying debris. The tidal forecast is for a peak level at Bournemouth. The first Forecast high water of 2.51mAODN at 9.30pm 02 February, with 2.30m waves, with Easterly force 6 winds. The second forecast high water is at 09.45am with a level of 2.75mAODN with Easterly force 5 winds. A peak level at Portland of 1.85mAODN at 07.45am 03 February with 1.7m waves, Easterly Force 5 winds.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
