Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are continuing to rise at the Hamerton river gauge as a result of the recent rainfall. Further rainfall is forecast later this evening. We are predicting the levels to be similar, or lower, than on January 14. We expect flooding to affect High Street in Spaldwick, Thrapston Road and Spinney Field in Ellington, and Great North Road in Brampton. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated this evening on 28/01/21, or as the situation changes.
