This Flood Warning will remain in force overnight tonight, Thursday 3 November 2022 and into tomorrow, Friday 4 November 2022. The Rother remains high following the heavy rain earlier on Thursday. The river level is now receding steadily upstream of Etchingham and the peak reached Etchingham around 8pm on Thursday evening.
There will be further heavy showers overnight tonight and these will keep river levels high in all locations. Any additional flood impacts should be confined to fields, footpaths and roads but showers could also generate localised surface water flooding.
This message will be updated again by 8am on Friday 4 November 2022.
