This is an archived message. The status has changed more recently.
The Flood Warning for the area has now been removed. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land around Etchingham. River levels are now falling but still pose a risk to roads, gardens and fields. Today, Friday 4 November 2022, will be dry but further rainfall is forecast from Saturday evening, 5 November 2022.
We continue to monitor the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers.
