Flooding expected. Take action now.
High groundwater levels are expected to cause flooding. Flooding is expected from 9 February 2026 onwards. Groundwater levels in Salisbury Plain remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Hindon. The groundwater level at the Terraces borehole remains high at 118.26m, and is expected to stay high following further rainfall this week. We are closely monitoring the situation. If you have a pump, make sure it is working and switched on. Think about alternative power sources in case of power cuts. Roads may be impassable due to flood water, do not drive through floodwater. This message will be updated by 10:45AM on 16 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
