High groundwater levels are expected to cause flooding.
Flooding is expected from 26 January 2026 onwards.
Groundwater levels in Salisbury Plain remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Hindon. The groundwater level at the Terraces borehole has risen to 116.951m, and is expected to remain high due to forecast heavy rain in the coming days.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
If you have a pump, make sure it is working and switched on. Think about alternative power sources in case of power cuts .
