Flood warning

This Flood Warning has been issued because flooding is expected overnight between 11:00 PM on 13/12/2023 and 03:00 AM on 14/12/2023

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Stour, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around some properties around Grove Ferry and Plucks Gutter. River levels in the Great Stour are expected to continue to rise through the night due to the recent rainfall since Sunday.

We will continue to monitor levels closely.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. For information high tide at Dover is expected at 11:00 PM with the forecast level of 3.32mAOD.
