Strong winds and large waves tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from from 04:30am to 08:30am on Saturday 10th October.
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers or on the coast, with spray being seen on the seafront paths. Flood gates in the area will be closed by the Local Authority which will make access difficult. Please take notice of the Flood Sign at the top of South Beach Road. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at King's Lynn of 4.02mAODN at 06:30am, on 10 October, which is 0.15m above tide tables, Wind Force 6, Westerley. The high tide tomorrow at 19:15pm is expected to also be above flood alert thresholds.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid beaches and coastal promenades, which may be flooded.
