Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high in response to recent rainfall. Flooding is possible today, Tuesday 17th February. Flooding may affect low lying land and Squires Walk in the area of the Hatfield Brook Kempsey. Kempsey Flood Alleviation Scheme may become operational. Peaks: - Kempsey Yacht Club peaked at 6.16m on Monday 16/02 PM.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
