River levels have returned to near normal on the Scrasebridge and West Common streams, following heavy rain earlier Friday morning. The widespread rain has now cleared leaving a largely dry day. However, isolated showers still remain possible. Widespread rain will return from 15:00 on Saturday 21/12/2019, which could see river levels rise again. Please stay prepared for the risk of flooding to increase over the weekend. If you see a blockage affecting the flow in the river, please call our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60.
