River Levels

Middle Avon at Fordingbridge

Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

This is an update to the current Flood Warning. River levels remain high and are continuing to rise due to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding is possible. Areas most at risk include Roman Quay, Timbermill Court and Bowerwood in Fordingbridge. More rainfall is forecast Friday and over the weekend, which may cause further river level rise. We are closely monitoring the situation. Continue using any flood protection products you may have and acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 10:00PM on 14 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
