Flooding expected. Take action now.
This is an update to the current Flood Warning. River levels remain high and are continuing to rise due to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding is expected, and locations most affected will be Fisherton Street, Bridge Street, Mill Road, Crane Street, New Street, Catherine Street, Brown Street, Exeter Street, Friary Lane, Greyfriars Close and Wiltshire College. More rainfall is expected over the next few days, which may cause further river level rise. We are closely monitoring the situation. Continue using any flood protection products you may have and acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 14 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
