Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high due to recent rainfall and the high groundwater. Flooding is expected. The areas of Britford that are most at risk include Lower Road and Church Lane. We are expecting some rain today but totals will be low. The Forecast is for dry and bright conditions today and tomorrow. We will continue to monitor the situation . Please continue to use any flood protection products you may have and act on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 2:00PM on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 or as the situation changes.
