Flooding expected. Take action now.
This is a Flood Warning Update. Flooding is still possible. Flooding is expected at locations around the Middle Hampshire Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Southampton Road Retail Park, Salisbury Business Park on Dairy Meadow Lane and Dairyhouse Bridge Caravan Site.
River levels remain very high following the recent rainfall and the high groundwater. The weather remains unsettled and further rain is forecast for the next couple of days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Activate any flood protection products you may have. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. Check local authority websites for road closures. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 14 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
