Flooding expected. Take action now.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Middle Dorset Stour, Lower Dorset Stour, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Hammoon, Bere Marsh, Stourpaine, Durweston and Lower Blandford St Mary. River levels have reached 3.0 metres and further flooding is expected throughout the night as river levels continue to rise due to recent rainfall. Levels are forecast to peak around 3.12 metres, at approximately 5:15 AM on the 19th December 2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
