Warning no longer in force

The flood warning for Mill Beck at Welham Road has been removed. Beck levels have now fallen below levels of concern and are being managed through pumping operations, as the River Derwent remains high, therefore the risk of property flooding reduced. A flood alert remains in place as flooding of roads and land may still be possible, Further rainfall is expected in the area on Friday morning, 29/01/21, but is not expected to be as heavy as that seen in the early hours of this morning. We are closely monitoring the situation and will re-issue this warning if the situation changes.
