The risk of flooding from the sea has now reduced and no property flooding is expected, however, a flood alert remain in force for this area. Strong winds and large waves are forecast this evening, Saturday 22nd August which may lead to wave overtopping and sea spray in low lying and exposed locations. High numbers of visitors in these locations bring an increased risk. People are advised to avoid low lying and exposed coastal areas.
