Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels have risen following recent rainfall. As a result, flooding is possible overnight tonight, Friday 19th December 2025 and tomorrow, Saturday 20th December 2025. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers, especially land around Barmston. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through floodwater. This message will be updated by 08:00AM, Saturday 20th December 2025, or as the situation changes.
