High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from 6:15PM to 7:30PM on 05/02/2026.
Flooding is forecast only in the North Shields Western Quay Promenade area. Flooding is only forecast at very low laying areas affected by waves within the estuary.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads and low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded .
