Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning.
Flooding is expected from 8:45 AM to 12:45 PM on 21 January 2026.
Areas most at risk include Lower Hamworthy and areas of Poole from Old Town, The Quay to Hunger Hill. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Poole Harbour of 1.46 mAODN at 10:45AM on 21 January 2026, with Southerly force 7 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.) Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
