High tides are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from 10:00am to 2:00pm on 23/01/26.
Areas most at risk include Lower Hamworthy and areas of Poole from Old Town, The Quay to Hunger Hill. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Poole Harbour of 1.40 mAODN at 12:00noon on 23 January 2026, with South Easterly force 6 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
