Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is expected. River levels remain high but are slowly falling on the River Thames as a result of recent rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue today (06/02/21) and into tomorrow, especially properties closest to the river from Old Windsor Weir to Magna Carta Island.
Further rainfall is forecast this evening (06/02/2021) and overnight, potentially turning to snow. We expect river levels to remain high and rise slightly over the weekend in response to this. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area operating weirs to reduce flood risk. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 07/02/2021, or as the situation changes.
