Flooding expected. Take action now.
A large tidal surge is expected to affect the foreshore as a result of Storm Ciara. Consequently flooding of property and roads seaward of the flood defences in Gravesend, particularly Royal Pier road and the Promenade, is expected between 13:00pm and 15:00pm today, 10/02/2020.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are operating our structures in the area.
This message will be updated by 16:00 pm this afternoon, 10/02/2020 or as the situation changes.
