This Flood Warning has now been removed. River levels will remain high in the Lower Aire catchment through today, Thursday 04/1/24, with washland levels also remaining high. As such, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, with flooding of roads and low lying land still possible. No significant further rainfall is forecast. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this warning if necessary. Please continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
