Flood alert

No further rain is forecasted in the Lower River Aire Catchment. River levels remain high and surrounding washlands are filling. Flooding remains possible on 15 November 2025. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. River Aire from Ferrybridge to Chapel Haddlesey. We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 8:00AM on 16 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
