Rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 08 February 2026 .
Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads along the River Amber around Ambergate. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Wingfield Park Gauge will begin rising at 20:30
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded
