Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Warwick gauge as a result of the recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the flooding of roads and property is possible overnight (02/01/2024).
Further rainfall is forecast this afternoon, but is forecast to begin clearing from approximately 21:00. We expect river levels to remain high overnight.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning (03/01/24), or as the situation changes.
