Flood warning

River levels are high but steady at the Lilbourne river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the flooding risk remains. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Stanford on Avon village areas.
No further rainfall is forecast. River levels are falling but still pose a risk.
Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and call 999 if in immediate danger.
Avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 03/10/2024 or as the situation changes.
