Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels have risen at the Lilbourne river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible between 10:00 and 14:00 today Monday, 06/01/2025. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Stanford on Avon village area.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to rise until 14:00 today, Monday 06/01/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents and call 999 if in immediate danger.
This message will be updated by 18:00 today, Monday 06/01/25, or as the situation changes.
