Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising rapidly due to recent rainfall, and are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from 7:00 PM on 24/11/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Bride, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Bridelands and Lower Farm in Long Bredy, Bride Valley Nursery in Litton Cheney and Water Lane Fish Farm in Swyre.
Weather conditions are expected to improve tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please consider activating any property flood protection products and start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
