River levels are rising on the River Brit and are expected to cause flooding overnight. Flooding is expected from 12:15 AM on 30/09/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Brit, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Bridge Street and Crook Hill in Netherbury.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast overnight.
We are closely monitoring the situation, and rainfall and river levels.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Consider activating any property flood protection products. Please take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
