Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from the morning of 27 January 2026 from 7AM onwards.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Brue, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected. Areas most at risk include roads in Catsham, Cowbridge and West Lydford and the B3151 Glastonbury to Meare road. Properties on Dyehouse Lane, Glastonbury at risk from the Glastonbury Millstream and overtopping forecast at Baltonsborough.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and Field Teams are checking flood defences.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
