Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding remains possible.
River levels are falling on the River Cherwell following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert and water moving downstream. Flooding of property and roads remains possible this evening and overnight, 28/11/2024. Areas most at risk are properties located closest to the River Cherwell on Water Eaton Road.
This evening and overnight is forecast to be mainly dry. River levels are expected to continue falling over the coming days but will remain high as water moves downstream.
Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Do not drive through flood water.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 29/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
