Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels are high but now dropping slowly on the River Cherwell following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property, roads and low lying land is expected to continue today, 26/11/2024. Properties on Wales Street at Kings Sutton are most at risk. The forecast is predominantly dry day with further rainfall forecast tonight (26/11/2024) into tomorrow. River levels are expected to fall very slowly today, but remain sensitive to further rainfall. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. This message will be updated this evening, 26/11/24, or earlier as the situation changes.
