Flooding expected. Take action now.
No further property flooding is expected. River levels are now falling on the River Cherwell following recent heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and low lying land remains possible today, 07/01/2025, especially Wales Street, Kings Sutton. Today and overnight is forecast to be mainly dry. We expect river levels to continue falling throughout today. Levels will remain sensitive to any further rainfall over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated this evening, 07/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
