River levels are remaining high on the River Coquet due to heavy rainfall.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Areas most at risk include Felton Mill and Station Cottages.
River levels are forecast to begin falling during the night, starting around 11:00PM on the 20/10/2023, but the risk of flooding remains in the meantime.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation.
