Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood Warning

River levels have risen in response to the recent heavy rainfall. Although levels are now starting to drop, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected today (16/02/20). Areas most at risk are properties on Church Street. Further showers are expected today, but we do not expect these will cause river levels to rise any further.

We are closely monitoring the situation from our incident room. Please put your flood plan into action. See the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast and the Met Office for weather forecasts. This message will be updated by 20:05, 16/02/20, or as the situation changes.
